The raw-concrete base of the lower level echoes the stone foundations of the area's old barns; above, two levels clad in white-stained wood recall the lime render of the region's ancestral homes. The four bedrooms occupy the central level, while the living spaces, perched on the top floor, enjoy abundant panoramic windows. The living room, set in a dizzying cantilever, captures Cap-à-l'Aigle's sunsets and the shimmering St. Lawrence estuary.
