Les Thermes : Nordic Spa Villa with Panoramic River View

Les Thermes stands on a high ridge above the St. Lawrence, on rue Marie-Rose in La Malbaie. Floor-to-ceiling glass runs the length of the main floor, so the river and the far shore are in view from the kitchen, the dining table and most of the bedrooms — at sunrise, at sunset and under the stars.

A PRIVATE THERMAL CIRCUIT

The house was built around one: a Finnish sauna, a steam room, a cold plunge and an outdoor hot tub set under a covered pavilion, with an outdoor shower alongside. Alternate hot and cold at your own pace, then move to the fire pit and watch the light change over the water.

ROOM FOR TWELVE

Four bedrooms and seven beds — five queen beds and two singles — sleep up to 12 guests, with a maximum of 10 adults. Three bathrooms. The kitchen is built for cooking together: a long island, an espresso machine and a glass wine cellar, opening onto a dining table that seats the whole group. A wood stove warms the main room in winter; air conditioning takes care of the summer.

STEP-FREE ACCESS

A ramp reaches the main entrance without a single step, and one bathroom has a roll-in shower with a seat.

THE HAMEAU

Guests also have access to the shared grounds of the surrounding estate: an outdoor pool, tennis and basketball courts, gardens, walking trails and snowshoes in winter.

Pets are welcome. Free parking and an electric vehicle charger on site. Check-in from 4 p.m., check-out at 11 a.m.
