Le Feu Follet : Riverview Home with Terrace & Fireplace

Set on a hillside in Cap-à-l'Aigle, this three-level home, built in 2016, looks out over the St. Lawrence. Its heart is the covered terrace: a barbecue at one end, a foosball table at the other, and a long outdoor table where most meals end up being eaten.

Inside, the main floor opens under a cathedral ceiling — a kitchen with island, dining for six with two extra chairs on hand, and a living room built around a wood-burning fireplace. The garden level adds a second lounge with a bar and a double murphy bed, plus two bedrooms. Up on the mezzanine, a king bed faces the river.

Three bedrooms and two bathrooms sleep eight. One bathroom has a soaking tub and a shower, the other a glass shower. Air conditioning, wifi, washer and dryer, and private parking for up to ten cars; pets are welcome.

The kitchen is fully equipped: dishwasher, microwave, cookware, crockery, glassware, a filter coffee maker, a fondue set and a raclette set. Linens and towels are provided, along with a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board, and cleaning products for the length of the stay. Two televisions, a DVD player and 400 Mbps wifi; firewood to start you off, an outdoor fire pit and a propane barbecue from May to mid-October. A playpen and a booster seat are on hand for the little ones. Self check-in with a smart lock.

The Cap-à-l'Aigle gardens are two minutes away by car and Les Jardins de Quatre-Vents four. Downtown La Malbaie and the Casino de Charlevoix are ten minutes away, Mont Grand-Fonds fifteen, and Le Massif de Charlevoix forty-five.
